Charlotte’s first known commitment from this weeks wave of visitors
Blessed to receive an offer from UNC Charlotte and say that I’m 100 percent committed! @BiffPoggi #GoldStandard pic.twitter.com/UFB1xDy2UY

Terron Kellman is a former three-star Running Back out of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD. Get used to seeing “St. Frances Academy” when it relates to commits for Charlotte under Biff Poggi. Prior to signing with Northern Illinois, where he redshirted this season, Kellman was committed to Georgia Tech. It appears that his recruitment reopened a week or so before the early signing period last year, and interestingly enough, Charlotte and then RB coach Sean Dawkins extended an offer to Kellman. In addition to Charlotte, Minnesota, WKU, Arkansas State and Northern Illinois offered. The Huskies ultimately landed an official visit, and then his signature during the traditional signing period.
With the graduation of Calvin Camp, dismissal of Chavon McEachern, and transfer of Johnny Martin III, it’s within reason to see how Kellman could compete with Shad Byrd, Henry Rutledge and Micah Bell for snaps next season.
Be sure you stay dialed-in, things are about to pick up for Coach Poggi and staff.
