A49: Antonio, congratulations on your commitment to Charlotte. What led you to choose Charlotte?
AG: Honestly the coaches and staff. Whenever we talk it just felt like I was already part of the team. You can tell that they're real genuine people thats going to love you and have a good time but be hard on you and push you when its time and that's important to me.

A49: Who on the Charlotte staff was your primary recruiter? What's that relationship like?
AG: It was a mix between Coach Parks and Coach Rossomando. As far as Coach Parks our relationship is very strong he has been with me since 7th grade and like I said before just a real genuine coach who pushed to the level that I'm at now. As far as Coach Rossomando we haven't really had time to form a relationship yet but from talking to him I feel we will click very easily.

A49: What position/s has Charlotte recruited you?
AG: They recruited me at OL but I can play anything that they put me at.

A49: Were you able to visit campus prior to the pandemic, if yes, what were your thoughts on campus and the facilities?
AG: Yes, I visited the campus my 10th grade year and loved it. It was very modern and at the time I visited they were still doing work on it. I love that the Stadium is on campus and I like the pit feel to it. I also love the location of the campus you can never run out of things to do in Charlotte.

A49: What would you say are your strengths at the field?
AG: One of my biggest strengths is my mentality. What I mean is I live by a kill or be killed mentality. Another strength that I have is my aggressiveness at Ridge View our DL coach taught us the phrase bullyball and I try to incorporate that in my game whenever I see the field.

A49: I know it's a ways away, but do you have an idea for what you're looking to study at Charlotte?
AG: I want to do something in the sports medicine field.

A49: Any message you'd like to share with Niner Nation?
AG:I would like to thank them for welcoming me with open arms. I going to come in and show yall why these coaches took a chance on me. Also I hope to form a bond that outlast football with the community. Again thank you. Go Niners
