Today Verbal Commits broke the news that Charlotte Basketball player Luka Vasic has entered his name into the transfer portal. Luka, originally a Mark Price signee, suffered multiple knee injuries during his time at Charlotte and will now be looking to spend his 6th and final season of eligibility elsewhere.
In 2021-22 Luka served as a backup for Freshman of the Year Aly Khalifa. his departure now leaves Charlotte with 5 scholarship openings for the 2022 class (1 signee, Point Guard Nik Graves), and only Khalifa as a returning big man.
There is much work to be done now by the staff to replenish the roster for this upcoming season.
