Biff Poggi and his Charlotte 49ers' are heading to Annapolis, MD on Saturday for what is shaping up to a marquee matchup early in the AAC slate. Charlotte enters at 3-3 (2-0), while the Midshipmen are coming in hot at 5-0 (3-0) and now ranked #25 in the country. Charlotte and Navy have faced on just once, in 2023, and it was a forgettable affair for Charlotte fans. The Niners fell 14-0 at home, in a contest where each team amassed 265 yards of total offense and combined totaled over 900 yards in punts. The box score has been rated NC17.
This one will be carried nationally on CBS Sports Network, which is available on cable, as well as multiple streaming services, including: YouTube TV, Hulu, Fubo, DirecTV Stream, and Philo. Coverage will begin at 3:30pm ET.
As always, Charlotte Football will be carried by ESPN 730 The Game, the flagship station for Charlotte Athletics. Providing the play-by-play call will be Matt Sweirad, joined by Al Wallace in the booth, and Bobby Rosinki will be on the Charlotte sideline.
If you can't pick it up on AM 730, try 97.5 locally, or you can stream it via ESPNclt.com or The Varsity Network app (this is my go-to for listening to the Niners).
