Multiple locations are reporting that Will Healy will be fired, Will Kunkel from FOX Charlotte reported it first this morning.

Following Kunkel’s tweet Hunter Bailey, Charlotte’s beat writer for the Charlotte Observer and Football Scoop also reported the news.

After bowling in his first season at Charlotte, Healy’s team never gain traction and ends his tenure at Charlotte with a 15-25 overall record, going 10-14 in C-USA play, dropping the only bowl appearance to Buffalo.

Charlotte will owe Will Healy around $1.5 million to exit the deal, however there is an offset clause, anything Healy earns reduces what Charlotte owes.

I’ll be working on a piece with who I feel could be coaching candidates over the next day or so. Stay tuned, Niner Nation.
