Charlotte’s in solid company in the pursuit of 2024 Defensive Back

Yesterday Lloyd Irvin Jr. released his top 6 schools, which included Charlotte, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Maryland, West Virginia and Marshall. Lloyd is a 6’3 175 pound defensive back prospect from Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Maryland.

Irvin, while not yet ranked by any services, certainly projects as a solid 3-star prospect based on his recruitment level. He’s taken several unofficial visits, including Charlotte, Maryland, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Marshall, Pittsburgh, JMU, Penn State, and Boston College.

The DMV area will be a point-of-emphasis on the trail due to Biff Poggi’s connections and standing in the area. Stay tuned in as we follow Irvin’s recruitment and to see if Charlotte will land one of his official visits in the future.

Irvin’s thoughts on Charlotte

I already have good relationships with a lot of the players there, so Charlotte definitely had to join the list.
