Bulletin board material aplenty

As you may have noticed this week, the American Athletic Conference (AAC) hosted their annual media day for the upcoming football season. Prior to Biff Poggi’s session with the media, in which he proceeded to go viral again, the preseason media poll was release. Charlotte was dead last, and it’s not just the AAC media that feel that way.

“Three questions, that’s it?”

To build upon this, it’s not just the AAC media picking Charlotte last. Athlon picked CLT dead last (source). Charlotte also has the lowest consensus win total in the AAC for 2023, per this article from College Football News.

Does Charlotte and the new staff really need bulletin board material? Of course not, but you uses everything you can to motivate you program. There’s a great quote from Biff over at Under Dog Dynasty, you can check out the article it comes from here.

“It’s fun,” Poggi said. “It’s like painting a masterpiece. You use a bunch of different brushes and a bunch of different colors and if you do it well, it’s something that goes into a museum.”

That was used to discuss nearly two-thirds of the two-deep consisting of transfers, but it is certainly applicable to Biff’s approach to motivating his players, exciting the fan base, and keeping Charlotte Football as a national talking point while we wait for fall camp to begin in a week or so.

The last, I think, of the Biff content from AAC Media Day
