JUCO Bigs enter the picture

In yesterday’s recruiting roundup I mentioned the offer for JUCO Guard Jordan Brinson and that it was a rare offer to a JUCO prospect… Don’t look now but Charlotte is pursuing 2 JUCO big men. As of now Charlotte has returning Freshman of the Year Aly Khalifa and 6th-year senior Luka Vasic at the 5 spot. Like most young big men, Aly is foul prone, and Luke has suffered multiple knee injuries in his time here, so health is not a given there. This combination makes pursuing an expereinced big men a no-brainer.

Introducing Mohamed Wague

“Mo” Wague is a 6’10 big man from Harcum College (PA), he’s originally from Mali, and attended PA presp school Scotland Campus. As of right now I can find that he has offers from BYU, San Jose State, Wichita State and West Virginia. He recently visited WVU, but its worth noting WVU also has another JUCO big already inked in this class.
