Weekend visitor scoop
Charlotte is slated to host a group of current Charlotte commits and two FBS transfers
The 2022 class (full list of commits here) is in full swing as we approach the Early Signing Period on December 15th. This marks the final weekend for visits prior to pen going to paper, here's who Charlotte will hot this weekend.
CLT COMMITS SLATED TO VISIT
Aveon Grose is one I've kept an eye on since both defensive back coaches have been let go. Glad to see he's in for an official.
Micah Bell was recruited heavily by Ole Miss, so I've kept tha tin the back of my mind leading up to the early signing period. That said, they have a top 600 RB in the class committed (since 9/29/21), so they may not be working on a flip here at this time.
Don't forget that Antonio Gaines was recruited as an Offensive Lineman, not for the DL.
FBS TRANSFERS SLATED TO VISIT
Wayne Jones primarily played LB at Kansas State, but he did at times line up in the slot corner position, so he could fit the hybrid safety/LB role. Jones should be eligible immediately and have 2 seasons left.
Like Wayne Jones, Jurriente (JD) Davis should have 2 seasons of elibigility as well. Davis was at Hutchinson JUCO in Kansas prior to MTSU.
HS PROSPECT SLATED TO VISIT
North Cobb WR Reggie Givhan announced on Twitter last night that he'll be in CLT this weekend for a visit. Givhan committed to New Mexico about a month back.
